FLOCK OVERSIGHT FOR CHIEF SHEPHERD – 1 Peter 5:4

FEED THE FLOCK OF GOD
• Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;

1 Peter 5:2

DELIVERED OF HIS WORD
• Making the word of God of none effect through your tradition, which ye have delivered: and many such like things do ye. Mark 7:13

EDIFIED THROUGH GATHERING

• How is it then, brethren? when ye come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a tongue, hath a revelation, hath an interpretation. Let all things be done unto edifying. 1 Corinthians 14:26

WATCHING PRAYER FOR THE CHURCHES
• Continue in prayer, and watch in the same with thanksgiving; Withal praying also for us, that God would open unto us a door of utterance, to speak the mystery of Christ, for which I am also in bonds: That I may make it manifest, as I ought to speak. Walk in wisdom toward them that are without, redeeming the time. Let your speech be alway with grace, seasoned with salt, that ye may know how ye ought to answer every man. All my state shall Tychicus declare unto you, who is a beloved brother, and a faithful minister and fellowservant in the Lord: Whom I have sent unto you for the same purpose, that he might know your estate, and comfort your hearts; Colossians 4:2-8

CHURCHES ARE THE CHRISTIANS
• Howbeit the most High dwelleth not in temples made with hands; as saith the prophet, Heaven is my throne, and earth is my footstool: what house will ye build me? saith the Lord: or what is the place of my rest? Hath not my hand made all these things?

Acts 7:48-50

• Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? 1 Corinthians 3:16

STOP PERSECUTING THE CHURCHES
• As for Saul, he made havock of the church, entering into every house, and haling men and women committed them to prison. Acts 8:3

• And Saul was consenting unto his death. And at that time there was a great persecution against the church which was at Jerusalem; and they were all scattered abroad throughout the regions of Judaea and Samaria, except the apostles. And devout men carried Stephen to his burial, and made great lamentation over him. Acts 8:1-2

THE COMING CROWN OF GLORY
• And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. 1 Peter 5:4

GATE OF HELL WILL NOT ACCOMPLISHED OVER HIS CHURCHES
• And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

Matthew 16:18

PEACES TO THE CHURCHES
• Salute one another with an holy kiss. The churches of Christ salute you. Romans 16:16

• Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles. Romans 16:4

• Salute the brethren which are in Laodicea, and Nymphas, and the church which is in his house. Colossians 4:15
